This week's photo was taken in Windsor, CO at the lake there in town. The lake is still partially frozen over, the geese are flying around it, and the lake reeds are still brown. While the wind sometimes blows a hint of spring, the rest of the earth around here is still stuck in winter. I feel an early spring approaching, however.
Got a great photo of my Maine Coon meditating in the sun the other day. It may be a faceless photo, but he is all ears. So full of personality and life.
This week was a fun one! A good time to get creative and shoot up close and personal with one of my favorite candies! I used Lindt truffles as my subject. The white chocolate and peppermint kind. I took a lot of photos and "posed" my candy many different ways, finally I got a shot worth posting! It was a fun experiment this week.
For this week's challenge, my subject was the Rocky Mountains again. I drive towards them every day going to work, they are a beautiful part of the scenery. They are a little bit different every day, the way the clouds are, the way the sun shines on them. They stay the same, but are subtly different every single day. Just like most people, we stay mostly the same, but little things change us every day to shape us into who we are.
For this photo, I did a High Dynamic Range shoot. I shot 3 photos at the same subject with different settings and combined them all together on my photo editing software. I was pleased with the result. My husband made it his desktop on his computer! Flattering! My husband and I went to Ft Collins for breakfast the other day and as we were walking back to the car, I saw a neat looking wall which I thought would be great for this week's challenge! So my wonderful husband let me take his photo and I think it turned out great. Although, that could be a biased opinion.
