Day 5's challenge was "scenery". Going back to the fall theme, I took a picture of harvested hay in between Greeley and Windsor. It was a nice overcast day too which really added to the weather changing feel of the photo.
Today's challenge was especially challenging. The theme was "Abstract". There are so many different ways to go with this theme and it's not something I usually do. That's why I absolutely love doing these things; they push me to get out of my comfort zone and try new things.
Today's challenge was movement. And what a challenge that was! I took photos of my mom's kitten playing with a pen. It was nearly impossible to get a decent shot. That little guy is a furball of energy!
Day 2 of my Fall Photography Challenge is "footwear" I got these nifty black and white striped shoes a few years back and really like them for Halloween. They remind me of Tim Burton movies. (Fun fact: Tim Burton's signature look is black and white stripes. You'll see some in every one of his movies at some point.) So since these are fall posts, and Halloween is coming up, I went with this particular pair of footwear.
If you hop on over to my facebook page, facebook.com/darkdreamerphotography, you will see that I have been working on a 52 week challenge since the first week of January. I'm pretty proud of how I have stuck with it and how much I've learned in the process. Since it is so far into the year, there would be a lot of blogging going on to get caught up with all that on this page. So instead, I have started a 30 day fall challenge which I'll be posting here!
